New Delhi: The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has launched a marketing intelligence cell for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).
The setting up of the cell is in line with recommendation of the task force on MSME set up by the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh.
Speaking at the launch of the cell, the PM's Principal Secretary, Mr T.K.A. Nair, said, “The task force has recommended equity infusion into the NSIC to scale up its activities, especially raw material distribution to MSMEs at attractive terms.”
The cell will collect and disseminate information on domestic and international marketing in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce and the export promotion councils and agencies.
